Day 1

Start early from Imphal and cross over to Myanmar through the Indo Myanmar Friendship Bridge and drive to the quaint town of Kale.

Driving distance 245 Kms.

Day 2

Drive through the countryside of Myanmar to reach the ancient city of Bagan.

Driving distance 375 Kms.

Day 3

Explore Bagan, a UNESCO world heritage site. Visit the Archaeological Area where thousands of pagodas and temples have stood the test of time.

Day 4

A short drive today to Mandalay, the second largest city of Myanmar.

Driving distance 180 Kms.

Day 5

From Mandalay drive to one of the natural gems of Myanmar - Inle Lake.

Driving distance: 265 Kms.

Day 6

Spend time around the Inle Lake, take a boat ride, see local life around the natural freshwater lake.

Day 7

Expressways today, from Inle Lake we drive to Bago.

Driving distance: 565 Kms.

Day 8

Second border crossing of the trip, cross over to Thailand and drive to Mae Sot.

Driving distance: 350 Kms.

Day 9

Drive through open roads and then some winding ones to reach Chiang Mai.

Driving distance: 360 Kms.

Day 10

Spend a day in Chiang Mai, visit one of its many cafes, experience its cosmopolitan flair or see the old city area, the erstwhile capital of Lana Kingdom.

Day 11

From mountains back to plains, drive to Sukhothai. Founded in 1238, Sukhothai is from Sanskrit, sukha (सुख "happiness") + udaya (उदय "rise, emergence"), meaning "dawn of happiness".

Driving distance: 310 Kms.

Day 12

Last leg of the trip, drive to the capital city of Bangkok.

Driving distance: 435 Kms.

Day 13

Explore Bangkok city.. where the ultra modern and traditional collide like the flavours on a plate of pad thai. End the trip on a high at a gala party.
